A spooky book and a tiny staircase

It has been a whirlwind for us, here at POMEmag. Our Kickstarter for Group Chat launched last week, and we’re so moved and overwhelmed and humbled by the support you all have shown as so far. We’re 62% funded as of right now, and we still have most of the campaign ahead of us! We’re so excited to bring this book to all of y’all, but until then — here are some tasty Afternoon Snacks!
Gettin’ ready for something spooky and also scary!

A really powerful article from Junot Díaz regarding his experience with sexual abuse as a child, and how it affected the rest of his life. Trigger warning for sure, so take care of yourself if you need to.
For many of us, the titular comic Cathy has become a thing that we love to hate. But there’s a lot of unappreciated aspects of Cathy, of what she’s meant to women since her humble beginnings in the 70’s, and the truth to the struggles that she faced in throughout her serialization.
