Each year, wyrd and witchy Halloween merchandise finds its way into stores across the country. From fake bottles of pickled spider glands to signs cautioning the reader to beware low-flying brooms, this season is a paradise for anybody who loves decorating their home with silly, spooky junk. To celebrate, we’re holding a contest for the best goofy Witch Stuff you POMEs find while you’re out shopping.
Join us for our October Witchfinder Contest — a contest where witchfinders are more about appreciating cool witches, and less about burning high-as-balls old ladies at the stake. We want to see the strangest, kitschiest witch-themed Halloween decor that you find this month. Take a pic of your favorites and send them our way via email or social media. At the end of the month, we’ll pick our favorites. Our winner will receive a one-month gift subscription to CroneCrate and a few other POMEmag goodies, including a copy of our brand new spellbook: “Charismatic Witchcraft: Volume One.” We’ll also pick a second place winner, who will receive the spellbook and a couple of POMEmag stickers. Any additional runners-up will receive a POMEmag sticker.

Rules & Requirements
- All contest entries due by October 28th, 2016 at 11:59PM CST
- Sorry, international POMEs: depending on your country of origin, we may be unable to mail you a prize if you live outside of the continental U.S. Email us at witchfinders@pome-mag and we’ll see what we can do.
- Participants can submit as many entries as they want
- Entries do not have to specifically include a picture of a witch, but must include witchy elements. Gnarled crone fingers? Send ‘em! Witch hats? Perfect! Werewolf masks? Sorry, but nope.
- If two participants submit an entry for the same item, the first person to send it to us is eligible to receive the prize
- If you win a prize, we’ll reach out to you before 5:00PM on Saturday, October 29th. If we don’t hear back from you within 24 hours, we will need to pick another winner. Get back to us ASAP!
