Appendix:
The recorded history of important scientific discoveries tends to favor old white dudes while glossing over people of color. As a result, this podcast has discussed a lot of white dudes who lived decades or even centuries ago. Today, I thought we’d spotlight a present-day paleobiologist who is neither white nor a man: Professor Anusuya Chinsamy-Turan, who is out there proving that while the dinosaurs might be extinct, paleontology is still very much alive.
