When you think about Batman, what’s the first thing you picture? Is it him driving the Batmobile? Is he battling the Joker? Was there music playing in the back of your mind? For Vincent, the answer for the third question is YES. As soon as comic books came alive on the big screen, musical themes came with them. Many people have the Batman theme from his 60’s TV show set as their ringtone. It’s catchy, it’s fun, but would it have worked in today’s era? Superhero music and themes have made drastic changes over the years, just like the heroes themselves. But do theme songs still have a role in modern comic book movies? Is music even an important part of a superhero feature? David is off fighting crime in Peru, so Vincent has called in backup to tackle this topic!
