Sidekicked Issue #1 – Are DC movie choices Suicidal?

Disney and Marvel have been rocking the Superhero Movie scene for several years now. A combination of strong creators, A-list actors, and connected movie plots has created a formula for financial success. Now DC wants a piece of the pie, and it looks like they are going to use a similar production model. But while Marvel’s Phase One included many of their biggest characters, DC has chosen to hold back a new solo Batman film and use Suicide Squad as one of their opening titles. Suicide Squad maybe a popular comic book series, but can a movie adaption work for DC early in their game plan? Vincent and David break down if this team of bad guys can make a good film.
