Sidekicked Issue #61 – Is Iron Man avenging diversity?

Modern comics are drastically more diverse in cast than once before. While many of DC and Marvels most iconic teams (such as the Justice League and Avengers) where once entirely made of one ethnicity, now each team’s spectrum of colors is vast in both costume and race. But as iconic characters such as Iron Man are replaced more frequently by characters of color, are we experiencing an unintentional “blackwashing” of comic books? Vincent and David tackle this towering topic this week.

David is a cool human and the co-host of the Sidekicked Podcast with Vincent Powell! He hates long walks on the beach, but only because there is so much sand. He knows more about Marvel than DC. He is a feminist, regardless of the fact that he is a guy. You haven't heard of him, well he's a big deal in Latveria.

He has now been drafted by the Uncanny Pome Magazine to unleash his thoughts and views. Along with his partner, David, the two of them analyze the comic book industry for a new generation of fans.
