When most people describe the Ninja Turtles, they say they’re pizza-eating turtles who live in the sewers. Their nemesis is the Shredder, and their best friend is a reporter. But many people forget to include that they’re also inter-dimensional space pirates who are friends with a PhD-carrying robot. The Turtles don’t just carry swords — sometimes they ride in rocket ships. David and Vincent discuss the different version of our heroes in half shells, and why these characters work in so many different genres.
