Comrade Himbo Fashion DIY

To celebrate our Comrade Himbo Kickstarter, Adrian and Brianna from “Service With a Smile” are here to show you how to modify your Comrade Himbo tee for especially himbo looks!

Brianna: "Today, Adrian & I will show you how to turn this (or any) t-shirt into attire fit for a himbo!"
Adrian, sweating nervously.
Brianna: "Adrian, are you NERVOUS??"
Adrian: "EEP! N-nervous?? Why should I be nervous?"
Brianna: "You've already gone viral once*, this is easy in comparison."
* See our story in COMRADE HIMBO!
Adrian: "Yeah, but that was before..."
Adrian, thinking of his boyfriend.
Brianna: "Oh you don't want to be embarrassed in front of your boyfri-"
Adrian: "OMG BRIANNA!!"
Brianna: "Ahaha ok ok! Let's get started. We've got two classic himbo looks to choose from — CROP TOP OR MUSCLE TANK."
Adrian: "Yes! Both are great & easy to make, so choose based on your style & comfort!"
Brianna: "Making a crop top is the easiest option! Start by trying your shirt on, and using very sharp scissors*, make a little snip where you want your crop to hit!"
* Sharp scissors will help the hem from getting ragged.
Brianna, measuring from Adrian's arm: "If you're not sure where to cut, 9-12 inches below the armpit seam is a good place to start. When in doubt, go longer than you think - you can always make it shorter! Next, take the shirt off & lay it flat. Using that initial snip you made as a guide, cut the shirt straight across!"
Brianna: "Now, try it on! If you like, you can go a bit shorter - otherwise, show off that midriff!"
Adrian: "Oh, this is nice! Very breezy."
Brianna: "If a muscle tank is more your thing, take your t-shirt & lay it flat. With a ruler, measure 1" off the shoulder seam & make a little snip on one side. At the armpit, measure 1"-2" down from where the sleeve meets the side seam, & make another little snip.
Brianna: "With your scissors, cut straight down from the shoulder until you get to the bottom of the sleeve. Then, start to round off until you meet the armpit cut. For the other side, fold your shirt down the middle length-wise, then cut down the armhole you already made for a mirror finish! (Or, you can always just wing it!)"
Brianna: "And that's it! Now you have two classic himbo ways to wear your very comrade looks!"
Adrian: "Oh, I like this one too!"
End!
